THE ROLE

We're recruiting a skilled Installation Engineer on behalf of a specialist platform lift company. You'll be part of a growing installation team, responsible for the safe and professional installation, commissioning and refurbishment of platform lifts across the UK.

This is a role for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys varied site-based work, and is looking to develop their skills and career within a supportive team.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Installing and commissioning platform lifts safely, on time and within budget
• Carrying out lift refurbishment, servicing and breakdown support when required
• Travelling to customer sites across the UK, including occasional Channel Islands projects
• Completing installations to schedule and ensuring readiness for commissioning
• Working flexibly to meet business and urgent customer needs — occasional overtime
• Sharing ideas to help the business grow and continuously improve

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Proven lift industry experience — platform lifts or similar equipment preferred
• Working towards NVQ Level 2 Platform Lift Installation (or equivalent Engineering NVQ)
• CSCS card, PASMA, SSSTS — required
• Trained in: working at height, manual handling, asbestos awareness
• Experience carrying out safe electrical works
• Full UK driving licence — essential
• Right to work in the UK without restriction
• A positive, team-first attitude with a strong work ethic

LOCATION

London is the first preference. Candidates based in the South or Midlands will also be considered. You'll be travelling to customer sites UK-wide — a genuine willingness to travel is essential for this role.
